Five Questions Regarding Delivering Cookies

May 18, 2008

1) What’s the most popular kind of cookie you sell?

The round kind filled with a variety of flavors. We tried making cookies in
the shape of dodecahedrons filled with exotic fruits and meats but found the
material and engineering costs for creating the cookies and tins to be about
as expensive as producing a vintage Chrysler Cordoba complete with rich
Corinthian leather. So we’re sticking with round and flavorful!

2) Is it appropriate to give cookies as an anniversary gift?

Absolutely! Unlike diamonds and precious metals, which are torn from the
very Earth at the expense of human labor and lives, you never hear much talk
about the blood spilled to harvest chocolate chips or oatmeal and raisins.
So there are no ethical concerns when you give a tin of cookies, whereas a
two-karat diamond solitaire could consign your soul to Purgatory for most of
eternity. Cookies are also a better choice than flowers, which are notorious
for being carriers of life-threatening allergens and bees.

3) Do you really send out your cookies the same day an order is received?

We tried sending them out the day BEFORE we received the order but the
zoning commission denied our request for a nuclear-powered particle
accelerator Hadron collider on the premises that would make
time-traveling-cookie-order-fulfillment possible. Write your city
councilperson!

4) Do you include personalized notes from the sender with your cookie
orders?

Yes! We experimented with sending personalized notes from OTHER people but
found that the resulting confusion put our business, customers and many
relationships at risk from physical threats costly litigation. So now we
just include personalized notes from the people who actually send the
cookies to the people who actually receive them — and that’s working out
pretty well so far!

5) Do you use organic ingredients in your cookies?

Yes. To the best of our knowledge, all our ingredients originated on the
planet Earth. We have looked into creating cookies made from ingredients
found on Krypton, but can’t seem to get past what we call the Broken Jaw
With Every Bite Syndrome. But our cookies made from Earthly ingredients are
even more fantastically tasty AND chewable! Order today!

Ten reasons you need to send A Sweet Reminder cookies to your Mother:

May 10, 2008

Here are the ten reasons why our mascot Chip Cookie says you need to send A Sweet Reminder cookies to your Mother:

1) You ran with scissors that one time when you were told not.

2) Because your Father will never send her cookies.

3) You blew it last year with the overpriced buffet at the Holiday Inn where your Mom almost chocked on a chicken bone.

 4) You won’t to upstage your old sister who is knitting your mom ANOTHER piece of clothing.

5) You can’t make Sunday lunch because you are out of state and gas prices are too high.

6) Your Mom made you all those cookies growing up, now it’s time to return the favor.

7) You watched “Mommy Dearest” last night and you realized your Mom did not do such a bad job.

8.) You have forgiven her the time she came to your high school to say “Hey!”

9) Keep her occupied so she won’t harass you with “Am I going to be a Grandma soon?”

10) She gave birth to you….’nuff said!.
